As the founder of Cut & SewCiety, I am driven by a passion for preserving sewing as both a practical life skill and a powerful tool for empowerment. As a self-taught sewist, my journey began with curiosity and creativity, and has grown into opportunities to showcase my work in multiple fashion shows, be featured on local news, and have my designs displayed in Dillard’s stores across St. Louis.

These experiences deepened my belief that sewing is more than a craft—it is a pathway to confidence, sustainability, and economic opportunity. Through Cut & SewCiety, I am committed to making these skills accessible to others by providing free, community-centered education that empowers individuals to create, grow, and build opportunities for themselves.
